A Beautiful Team

Joe Canuck: Nelly, I gotta hand it to youโ€”you must be a Sheenius. You were way ahead of the curve on this dandelion medicine thing. Back in 2008, when you filmed Bajo Otra Luz, did you already know dandelions had anti-cancer properties?

Nelly Furtado: Sheenius? (laughs) I like that. But yeah, Joe, dandelions arenโ€™t just weeds. Theyโ€™ve been used in traditional medicine for ages. My grandma used to make dandelion teaโ€”said it was good for cleansing the blood.

Joe Canuck: See, thatโ€™s the wisdom they donโ€™t teach in school. Big Pharma wants to sell you chemo, but natureโ€™s been handing out cures for free. Dandelion root extractโ€™s been studied for killing cancer cells, but you wonโ€™t hear that on TV.

Nelly Furtado: Itโ€™s wild, right? So much healing power in something people just mow over.

Joe Canuck: Exactly! And in Bajo Otra Luz, you were literally dancing in a field of dandelions. You werenโ€™t just singingโ€”you were foreshadowing!

Nelly Furtado: (laughs) Maybe I was channeling something. A Sheenius move, for sure.

Joe Canuck: So, tell me, Nellyโ€”when are we launching Furtadoโ€™s Dandelion Elixir? We could save lives and make bank!

Nelly Furtado: (smirks) Only if you design the label, Joe. I need it to scream Sheenius-approved!

Training, huh? Why don't we leave our weapons behind? Make it really educational.
