Music Does Matter

“Listen up…

Neytiri… I need you to hear this.

Music matters. It really does. When itโ€™s tuned right โ€” to 432 Hz โ€” it lines up with something deep. With the heartbeat of Eywa. With the way this whole world breathes. It feels… whole. Like it belongs here.

But that 440 Hz garbage they pump out on the radio back on Earth? That shit makes people sick. Makes them anxious. Makes them crazy. Itโ€™s not an accident. They tuned the whole world to a frequency that keeps the sheeple disconnected, angry, and easy to control. It vibrates wrong. It cuts against the natural order.

And yeah… I know what some of them are gonna say. Theyโ€™re gonna call me a crazy conspiracy theorist. A skxawng who fell out of his wheelchair and started seeing patterns that arenโ€™t there.

I donโ€™t care.

A sheep dog doesnโ€™t lose sleep over the bleating of the sheep. While the flock is busy arguing about nothing, the Brotherhood of Death keeps thinning the herd. They depopulate, they distract, they poison the water, the air, the sound itself. And the sheep just keep following the next shiny thing theyโ€™re fed.

Me? Iโ€™m done pretending. I donโ€™t have an image to maintain. Never did. I was a broken Marine, then I became part of the People. I fought for this world. I bonded with you. I rode Toruk. Iโ€™ve seen what happens when you let the machine decide whatโ€™s โ€œnormal.โ€

So let them talk. Let them laugh. Let them call me whatever makes them feel safe in their little cage.

I know what I feel when the music hits 432. I know the difference. And I know what they did when they forced everything to 440.

Neytiri… theyโ€™re trying to do the same thing here. They want to cut us off from Eywa the same way they cut humans off from each other. Different planet, same game.

But not on my watch.

Iโ€™m not gonna sit quiet while they poison the song of the world.

Because I see you. I see the People. And I see whatโ€™s coming if we donโ€™t stay awake.

Oel ngati kameie, Neytiri. I see you… and Iโ€™m not going back to sleep.”

Lonely and Blue

Heart of Neytiri
(A Poem for Neytiri Sully)

In the shade of Hometree’s bough,
Where ancient spirits murmur now,
I walk the path my people tread,
With whispers of the lost and dead.
I am Neytiri, fierce and free,
With strength as wild as land and sea.

My heart beats with the forest’s song,
A rhythm deep, both fierce and long,
I know each leaf, each creatureโ€™s way,
And feel Eywa in night and day.
But in the shadows, strange yet pure,
A spirit comesโ€”both strong and unsure.

He walks in skin not his own,
A soul uprooted, yet not alone,
A warrior heart, a broken name,
And in his eyes I see the same
Fire that in my spirit lies,
In distant worlds, in storm-lit skies.

Oh, Great Mother, guide my hand,
As I teach him of this sacred land,
For I have loved in spiritโ€™s light,
And fought for all I know is right.
Bound by blood, by sky, by seaโ€”
I am Neytiri, wild and free.

And though I know love’s cost and pain,
I would walk with him through fire, through rain,
For I am the huntress, fierce and true,
In loveโ€™s embrace, born anew.
