Trap

The 2024 film Trap, directed by M. Night Shyamalan, stars Josh Hartnett as a father named Cooper who takes his daughter to a concert by pop star Lady Raven, played by Saleka Shyamalan. As the event progresses, it becomes clear that the concert is a setup orchestrated by federal authorities to capture a serial killer known as “The Butcher.” The twist is that Cooper himself is revealed to be the killer, making the entire concert a trap for him (Wikipedia) (UPROXX) (Peoplemag).

The movie is inspired by real-life sting operations like “Operation Flagship,” where law enforcement used enticing events to capture fugitives (UPROXX). With Shyamalan’s characteristic suspense and a plot designed to challenge audience perceptions, Trap promises to be a thrilling psychological experience (Peoplemag).

Josh Hartnett is an American actor and producer who gained fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He was born on July 21, 1978, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Hartnett is known for his roles in several popular films, including:

“Black Hawk Down” (2001) – A war film in which he portrayed a U.S. Army Ranger.

I will only go to Nelly’s concert if her cousin chaperones. I’ve been to a Communist country when i was a kid. I never saw any fear like the fear porn of the Capitalist bloc. There was no Hollywood to scare our children into buying garbage toys. No horror show profiteers of fear.
