Prayer for Prisoners
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts, lifting up those who are imprisoned. We ask for Your grace, mercy, and strength to be upon them. Surround them with Your love and peace, and grant them the courage to face their circumstances with hope.
Lord, we pray for their safety and protection. Comfort them in their loneliness and fear, and provide them with the support they need. May they feel Your presence and know that they are not forgotten.
Guide them towards repentance, healing, and transformation. Help them to find purpose and meaning, even within the walls that confine them. May Your light shine brightly in their hearts, leading them to a better path.
We also pray for the families of prisoners, that they may find solace and support in their time of distress. Strengthen their bonds and give them the endurance to cope with their loved one’s absence.
Lord, we lift up the prison staff and all who work within the justice system. Grant them wisdom, compassion, and integrity as they perform their duties. May they treat all prisoners with dignity and fairness.
In Your mercy, Lord, bring justice and redemption to those who have been wrongfully imprisoned. Let the truth be revealed and set them free.
We ask all these things in Your holy name.
